2. Only share your wifi password with people you trust
3. Secure all the devices you have on your network by using different usernames and passwords for each device
4. Consider using a password manager to keep track of all of your passwords
5. Keep all applications and devices updated, this will prevent the risk of security breaches
6. When possible, always enable 2 factor or multi-factor authentication
7. Do regular backups for your data and information
8. Segregate your network. For example, have one network for work devices and one for your smart home devices
